In 2010 Nevada adopted the Common Core State Standards in English Language Arts and Math and they became known as the Nevada Academic Content Standards (NACS). The standards are a set of expectations and guidelines for what students should know and be able to do in order to graduate high school and be prepared for college or a career.  It is important parents and families understand the expectations in those standards. Below, find links to the standards and to Nevada’s Department of Education NACS page.
